1. General Information Only
The Content is provided for general informational and educational purposes about financial management in the behavioral health industry. It is general in nature, may not reflect the most current developments, and is not tailored to the facts, risks, or goals of any particular organization.
2. Not Professional Advice
Nothing on the Site is financial, tax, accounting, investment, or legal advice, and nothing on the Site is a recommendation to take, or not take, any specific action. Frameworks, metrics, benchmarks, formulas, reserve targets, and examples (including those in the MoneyMap Method and related materials) are educational illustrations. Applying them to your organization requires an analysis of your specific facts by a qualified professional.
Behavioral Health CFOs does not provide investment advice or securities-related services, and does not provide legal, regulatory, billing-compliance, or clinical advice.
3. No Advisor-Client or CPA-Client Relationship
Using the Site, reading or downloading Content, submitting a contact form, sending us an email, booking or attending a call (including the Free Financial Systems Audit or any other complimentary call, review, or assessment), or receiving a proposal does not create an advisor-client, accountant-client, or CPA-client relationship with Behavioral Health CFOs or with any of its personnel.
About the Free Financial Systems Audit. The audit is a free, no-obligation working session. Its findings are preliminary and based only on the information you share with us; we have not independently verified that information. The audit does not create an advisory or client relationship.
A client relationship exists only when both you and Behavioral Health CFOs have signed a written engagement letter. The scope of our services, responsibilities, fees, and terms are defined solely by that signed engagement letter (and any related agreements, such as a Business Associate Agreement). Until then, please do not send us confidential information, patient information, or protected health information (see our Privacy Policy), and do not rely on any informal comments as advice.
4. No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee any particular outcome, and nothing on the Site is a promise of performance. Statements about goals, objectives, or what our approach is "designed" to achieve describe aspirations, not commitments. Financial results depend on many factors outside our control, including market conditions, payor behavior, reimbursement rates, regulatory changes, census, staffing, leadership decisions, and the accuracy of the information provided to us.
Past results do not predict or guarantee future outcomes.
5. Case Studies, Examples, and Testimonials
Case studies, client stories, examples, sample dashboards, and any testimonials on the Site are illustrative only:
- They may be anonymized, use pseudonyms, or be composites, and some details (including dollar figures, charts, and dashboards) may be altered or illustrative to protect confidentiality.
- They reflect the experience of specific organizations under specific circumstances and are not typical or representative of every client.
- Individual results vary. Your organization may achieve materially different results, or none at all.
- Tax outcomes described in any example depended on that organization's specific facts and the law in effect at the time, and may not be available to you.
- Any testimonials reflect the individual's own opinion and experience. No compensation was provided for any testimonial unless stated.
6. Third-Party Links and Tools
The Site may link to or reference third-party websites, software, products, or services (for example, scheduling, accounting, payroll, banking, or spend-management platforms). These are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party content, products, services, privacy practices, or availability, unless we say so expressly in writing. Mention of a product or a partnership does not mean the product is right for your organization.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Site and Content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Behavioral Health CFOs, LLC, and its members, partners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of, or reliance on, the Site or Content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you. Liability for services provided under a signed engagement letter is governed by that engagement letter.
8. Consult Your Own Professional Advisors
Before making financial, tax, accounting, investment, legal, or operational decisions, you should consult your own qualified professional advisors who can evaluate your specific circumstances, including your attorney, tax advisor, and auditor, as appropriate.
9. CPA Services and Professional Licensure
Behavioral Health CFOs, LLC is a financial consulting firm, not a licensed CPA firm, and does not perform attest services such as audits, reviews, or compilations of financial statements. References to "Tyler Edgel, CPA" describe his individual professional credential. Any services that require a CPA license are performed by or under the supervision of an appropriately licensed CPA. Other services, including fractional CFO, bookkeeping, and financial consulting, may be performed by team members who are not CPAs.
Terms such as "Free Financial Systems Audit," "audit-ready," "review," or "assessment" on the Site describe general consulting and preparation work, not an audit, review, or other attest engagement under professional standards.
10. Accuracy and Changes
We try to keep the Content accurate and current, but we make no representation that it is complete, error-free, or up to date. We may change, update, or remove Content, or update this Disclaimer, at any time without notice. The "Effective Date" above shows when this Disclaimer was last revised.
11. Governing Law
This Disclaimer and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
